Envision won the 2008 Guardian Charity of the Year Award for delivering original, imaginative and grass roots work on the ground as a small charity achieving real change.
The first Ernest Shackleton Leadership Award, worth £10,000, was presented to Envision's Co-Founder and director Nick Nielsen in 2008, for his inspirational leadership qualities leading to the growth and innovation of Envision, its staff, volunteers and beneficiaries.
